We, the BCS BizKidz, have a spectacular idea for a fundraising event to support a worthy cause.

 

Our idea for this event is a soccer tournament, Kicks For Change! 

​

Since 2004, the BCS BizKidz have raised over $112,000 for 24 charities. We are confident that with the support from parents, students, and the community, we can make this year’s event another huge success!

 

Our class has chosen to support Food For Life and the BCS Breakfast Club. Food For Life is a local, non-profit organization that strives to ensure people across Halton have healthy food to eat. They also provide low-income families with proper meals. The BCS Breakfast Club prepares a healthy breakfast for staff and students who are hungry. The Breakfast Club is run by volunteers and feeds about 80-100 people every morning. 

 

The Soccer Tournament will be held on May 22, from 10:00am to 1:30pm. Participants will be required to collect their own pledges, and bring in one fresh food item or nutritious canned good to donate to the charity.

 

The BCS BizKidz need your support and participation in order to have a successful and fun day. There are many opportunities to get involved such as volunteering, donating fresh food, or even becoming a family or corporate sponsor! 

 

With your help, we believe we make a difference in our community for a great cause. We hope to see you there!
